IMHO, since it's CF, I think you're certainly going to have to glue the magnet on. I would not trust clamping anything to those spokes for fear of structural failure. You might want to try something similar to the adhesive mounted magnet (CY-32-08 Sticky Backed Magnet) at the bottom of
this page.
