I'm in MAnchester, UK, and winter's a long, dull, wet, grey affair.

We had a couple of days last week where the sun was out and the evenings really felt lighter. I still couldn;t smell it, though. It's like when you go out and it's in the air. It hits you and you feel your body respond.

Anyone out there see first signs of spring yet?

I have a Tour de France DVD I've been saving for the long winter haul. I think it we might be close to the turning point, so I might watch it now to ease the winter blues and get myself in the mood for spring.
