Bob H: I thought of the same thing! In fact, when I first saw the thread title I thought it said hite rite instead of rite hite.
East Hill: there was a time when the hite rite was thought of as the best thing since sliced bread in the world of mountain biking. Joe Breeze came up with them, I think. I never owned one, and think they're kind of ridiculous myself. The fact that they're not popular anymore (or even made) says it all, I think-
