usually performance (devil to shop guys, but good for the broke bike folks) has some sort of deal on NYC u-locks or chains. With my NYC chain, I would wear it around my waist. Since my waist is larger than others, I used an old tube and caribener to make up for the extra 3 or 4 inches. It makes it much quicker to get off too!

I am telling you guys....locking skewers are the way to go, but I am a sales person in an urban shop. I always tell people that to save their stuff and not have to carry around extra stuff.
