Keeping your 20 folded

Ok, so I picked up my £20 Raleigh 20 last night (pics soon), and it's all good. I've got various decisions to make, but the first thing that sprung to mind was, it's not that small when it's folded, and it won't STAY folded. To make the fold as good as possible, I'm considering folding pedals, and straight, flat, bars, which will make a little difference. What I'm wondering is, how can you KEEP the thing folded. Has anyone discovered a good way? It's big and heavy enough when getting on and off trains, without the darned thing swinging open and hitting someone.....
