I actually got mine with the bottle cage, they threw in a set of $80 tires, had a front brake popped on, and I got the whole shabang for 830, not bad.
The bottle cage straps on (no cage bosses). So if I take it to the track, all I have to do is unstrap the cage, pop the brake and lever off, and it's track legal. It's a very very responsive (i.e. sensitive/twitchy) track geometry. All in all, its not bad. I definitely feel the road more than my titanium road bike with the curvy seat stays and all the carbon hardware but its not like, a world of difference, its pretty minor.
