Triple Crown Riders?

Hi all,
Not sure how many in this group are long distance riders (as opposed to racers). Just wondering how many of you out there are going for their triple crown this year? Having just completed Solvang, my mind is really into the double mindset. How is everyone doing in accomplishing their goals?

One thing I found challenging for training is the presense of hills ... but maybe that's because I'm not a hill climber. Trying to get in miles, but having to climb hills is tough. I figure it will make me stronger in the end, but the goal of getting more miles in becomes a challenge. The amount of work to do a 70 mile, 8,000 foot climb is definitely different than doing a 130 mile 5,000 foot climb. Different disciplines ... anyways, just wondering how everyone else is doing in preparing for this in the Bay Area.

I specifically put this in the Northern California community, because of the hilly terrain issues.
