I feel like an idiot for not realizing this earlier, but once I put my front rack on my touring bike, I won't be able to put my bike on my car's roof rack. That's because I've got the kind of bike carriers that require you to remove your front wheel and my low rider front rack extends below the bottom of the fork. Such a simple thing to overlook. doh!

I guess I'm going to have to buy a bike carrier that allows me to keep both wheels on the bike. Anyone have one they want to trade for one of mine? At least my car has folding rear seats so I can stuff my bike in the trunk if I want to drive to a start point for any weekend tours I take this Spring. I wonder what else I'm overlooking.
