I was 220 lbs a number of years ago after laying around after early retirement and getting fat, when I decided to to something about it. I started to ride f/g and within the first season of riding I dropped my weight down to 180 lbs and have kept it there or lower during the riding season and winter. It does take a commitment but it is well worth it. Congrats to you.
