I'm riding along the Cherry Creek path this morning on my short commute to work and notice a large crowd of people walking with garbage bags. I wonder if it's some high school kids on a morning outing. As I approach I notice all of them are women and virtually all of them a incredibly cute. I had to stop since they were blocking the path and as one of them walked past, I asked what was going on. She was very friendly and told me they were from the Aveda Institute downtown. I must have looked completely dumbfounded because she kind of giggled and then kept walking. I wanted to ask more questions about what they were doing, but it was kinda hard to talk with my mouth gaping open and drool coming down my chin. It was a pleasant surprise on my way into work and actually was the best part of my day. I hope the Aveda Institute keeps sending them down. Next time I'll volunteer to help.
