Hello all! I've been reading the forum for a while, and I finally decided to take part in it and post something... So I was a track person (as in track and field) for about 10 years, when sprinting the 200m and 400m finally broke me down bad enough I don't think I'll be able to seriously run again. I started riding and building road bikes with my dad to help rehab my cardio after a surgery I had, and I got hooked. Now, not even a year down the road, I just finished my 5th bike, my beloved track bike, and I'm heading down to the velodrome in Colorado Springs this saturday for my first class/training session. I'm planning on making a full season of it this summer, entering everything I can. And here I thought I was done with racing when I said goodbye to the 400! So if you're in the area, maybe go down to the Springs yourself, or just have any tips, shout at me!
