If the 50 mile route is the same as the end of the 100 miler, we fight the wind all the way down Silverado Trail, but the last 5 miles is with the wind at our backs. In 2004 I maintained 24 mph by myself on the last pull. Cars were pulling next to me and checking their speedometers. I'll be cruising a lot slower this year on my 'bent.
