I average 14 mph for 'utility' rides (Grocery store, errands, commute, etc)

And about 16-17 on group rides where if I'm really pushing it.

Terrain makes a big difference... Routes around here tend to range from 'hilly' to 'very hilly'. Gotta love the Rockies!
