Are you able to use the same bridge and just rotate it a bit?
Yes!

I alreadymade the repair. It was too dark when I finished for good pictures.

The bridge was silvered in so I heated it accross the bridge and inserted a bolt. It just took a little twist to get the correct angle. I then put a spot of brass on each side because there was a small gap due to the wrong miter. I used brass becaue it bridges gaps better than silver.

I was able to keep the heat restricted enough that I didn't damage the paint as far down as the Schwinn logos on the seat stays. I think I'll be able to get a decent color match and hide the repair.
