Bionx systems work well on road bikes as well. Mainly because they're fairly light.
Is it a road "comfort" bike or a carbon fiber racer type of bike? Skinny tires or something in the middle?
Bionx might not work well with skinny tires.
Or you could contact Yamaha and try to get the bike in my sig, which I call my "unicorn".
