Well yes, actually. Last year I declared war on my lawn. My goal is to reduce the mowing burden on my "Little Bit of Paradise" to one third the current amount in ten years! [More time for cycling, see?] Only it's got a life of its own. . .one more patch of wild flowers. . .one more micro-prarie. . .one more patch of boxwoods. . .one more little tree transferred from the Forest Next Door. . .one more little expanded patch of bamboo. Ms. Coyote is convinced I've gone mad as I stand in the middle of it all talking to the dragon flys and eating sour little red snake berries.
