I'm not familiar with the Lynx, but I entered bentdom with a V-Rex last June after 20+ years and 120,000 miles on uprights. People kept telling me it would take a long time to develop bent legs and it did. I didn't start feeling proficient in speed for at least a couple thousand miles. Then I switched from a RANS V-Rex to a Volae Team and had to start over again re-training muscles. Now, however, I not only feel just as fast as my uprights but I'm faster on most rides and climb at least as fast on hills if not better.

Hang in there, it gets easier!
