That was a BikeForums ride a few weekends ago that about 40 people showed up for.

Well, for spinning up, few clinchers will beat my Elan Aeros. They climb fine--I've done rides with up to 8000 feet of climbing with them--but again, for big climbing rides, I'd generally pick the absurdly light Elan Aeros. I haven't used them enough to comment on durability--and at 140 pounds and low power output, you're asking the wrong person anyway--but you might want to send a PM to Chucklehead since he's the one who had me sold on these wheels. He uses them as his primary wheelset.

I'm too slow to comment on fast packs, but based on some big downhill descents, I can state with certainty that these are more aero than my other wheelsets (not that that should come as any surprise).
