Apparently, you trying to be her friend in helping her with this bike is not what she wants. Don't expose yourself to this kind of negativity. Why let yourself go through this? What is your gain?
You have a new friend now and maybe the energy spent on the ex might be better spent on the new one.
I know it may be hard but try to let it go. Give your friendship and advice to those who will honor it and respect it. You can't go wrong there!
