Yeah, I was at the front when the crash happened. A guy on my team got nailed by it and ended up having to go to the ER as he hit his head. He's fine. I thought the front was going to make a move at that point but nobody seemed to want to work any harder. I slowed the following lap as we passed the crash, but a lot of guys did not! I got bumped hard coming up the climb on the next lap and was in lousy position for the finish, but overall I felt like I had a good day and learned a lot. It was only my 3rd RR and my first crit.
Sounds like you're off to a good start. I think I was one of the guys that didn't slow down ..... I started to, but the road was clear, so the guys on the side of the road watching were telling us to slow down for no reason
