(get a smaller Curve D 3 from Dahon ..... much easier to stow in a plane..... I dont believe the 22 lbs in the ebay ad... much more likely 28 plus
I reasearched your suggestion online and it looks great! It seems a good compromise in terms of size, weight, useability, and price.
Now I'll look for a store in NYC where I can try it out.
