If you are going to paint the fork have the fork disassembled and paint the lowers seperately from the crown and all that stuff. Be sure to tape off the inside of the lowers and the seals very carefully and thoroughly. Rough up the green paint and personally I'd hit it with flat black BBQ paint... very durable, good coverage and looks pro even if you are painting with Parkinsons, thanks to the great coverage properties. Flat black looks cool on anything.
