That's the "correct" way THEY advise you to run the tires. I have many, many times reversed the "advised" direction (especially on the rear) to make the tire work better for the conditions. Some will climb alot better when reversed.... Tire life may be reduced, but who cares? Use them in the direction YOU want to is the bottom line....(Unless you always want someone else telling you what you should do).
