I'm trying to get a 70's Motobécane Grand Touring (
photos) up and running (currently I've rehabbed the front wheel and done a bit of cleanup while I wait for parts/tools). Anyway, the brake hoods on this bike are pretty trashed so I want to replace them.
Will
these brake hoods work? The bike has Weinmann levers and Weinmann 610/Vainqueur 999 brakes. I see the page says Weinmann 144, but I don't know if this is the level model. I can't really decide if I want the black ones or not (currently they are off white, but brown may look nice as well).
