HARO Function F4 question
I usually hang out in the Classic & Vintage and Mech forums but I picked up a HARO Function F4 at a Garage sale this weekend for 40 bucks.
Is this a fairly decent Bike/frame to hang on to?
Its a Cool flat olive Green, in great shape cosmetically, needs a little brake work, CK headset is sightly loose, 1 piece crank setup.
My son is 8 and currently has a 1 year old lower end Redline thats holding up well although it is not 4130. My thought was to upgrade if he continued to BMX and eventually require a new Frame/bike. ( he killed a couple of hand me down the big box bikes pretty quick)
My original thought was to grab it for parts, like wheels, etc but it looks like it was just used for a few tricks and basic neighborhood use (scrapped rear and front pegs is the worst damage)
Any information such as year etc would be appreciated. Nearest I can find to the looks is a 2003 F3 at the BMX musem web page.
