I've seen high polished silver aluminum stems, seatposts and bar-ends but I don't think I've ever seen a rim like that. Seems like all rims are either black or the common shade of silver. A friend of mine has a really nice looking high polished silver aluminum stem from
Kalloy on his bike. The bike has been through rain and snow, left outside, etc. and there is NO sign of corrosion on it! It also doesn't seem to require any specific care. I've only put some wax on it like two times just because I was waxing the frame anyway. It would be really cool if you could have a rim like that, very neat looking and almost no maintenance.
Weinmann used to make rims like that but the factory that produced them blew up.
