Trying to finance new rig

With all that life brings with being a husband, parent, part of a tandem bike
team, home owner and the rigors of being employed full time, my life's spare
time is pretty non existent. I have a high-end mountain bike in the garage
that makes me feel guilty owning it as I no longer have the time to ride it.

I'm now looking to help finance a new road bike and want to sell all my
mountain bike equipment to someone that will use & enjoy it. Sad to say my
first love must go but, here's what I have:

'99 Balance 850 PRO hard tail, has replaceable derailleur hanger. The
bike is 17" measured center to center. I purchased the bare frame from a
shop in Loveland Co. Originally I built it up using extra parts laying
around and parts from my main ride at the time. In '01 I went through a
full upgrade and joined the XTR club. Here is how it's now outfitted (was
professionally installed by Sun & Ski sports on Greenville ave.):

Drive train: XTR 175mm cranks, XTR rear derailleur, XT front derailleur,
XTR chain, XTR cassette.

The rest of the bike is built up with:

XTR shifters, XTR break levers, XT front & rear v-breaks, XTR break pads,
Ritchey Lite stem, A-head 1 1/8 headset, Manitou Mars fork, Kore elite
handlebar, composite bar ends, Crank Bro's candy SL pedals, carbon fiber
chainstay protector, Cateye Enduro II computer, Selle Italia TransAm SLR
saddle, Thomson seat post, Xero X-1 wheelset, Pedro's blowout seat
bag,innovations Co2 inflator & Co2's, quick stix tire tool, Crank Bro's tool
kit, spare tubes, rear flashing light. Optional alligator toe for MoJo
(don't get me started as to how I got that thing). I made all these
upgrades the same year I got married. Since all the upgrades were added I'm
thinking they have maybe 500 on road miles and maybe 50 off road miles on a
local bunny trail.

Here's what I'm willing to throw in to sweeten the deal:

Topeak master blaster shock pump (for the Manitou fork). One Xero X-1
wheel set un-used and still in box (same wheels that come on bike so, you'll
have a new un-used pair for back up, tire changes & etc.). Extra SRAM
chain. A 17" bare Raleigh MTB frame un-used that has never been built up,
it also has replaceable derailleur hanger. Cateye ABS-10 headlight new and
un-used. The headlight is still in the box and has never been mounted on a
bike. It was only used to show as a sample for one week so, it only has
been through one charging cycle. Two un-used Hutchinson Top Slick gold 1.20
tires. Three slightly used IRC metro slick 1.5 tires rated at 100psi
(almost no wear detectable). Two IRC Mythos 1.95 tires (these tires have a
bit of wear on them but, should still get another season out of them easily)
and 1 new un-used IRC Mythos 1.95. XTR bottom bracket new/un-used still in
the box. SRAM 7.0 cassette 11/32 new till in box.

I'm wanting 1,000.00 cash for all this. I will consider any and all
SERIOUS offers but, lets face it folks, for all that I throwing in I'll be
pretty firm on the price. This bike has always been maintained by
professional mechanics from Bicycles Inc., Blue Bonnet Bicycles, Sun & Ski,
Wheels & Motion. I've handled all the small maintenance repairs such as
tube changes & lubricating drive train. Other than that I've always let the
professionals handle the important jobs.
