yeah i started skating in the mid 90s and got sponsored right during the big wave of skateparks being built and skating's poularity. pretty soon 7 year olds were busting all the tricks that i had been sponsored for a few years before, and i started getting hurt all the time. i had to quit because of injuries, and i miss it a lot still. sad that all of this happened before my 18th birthday. but i still skate for fun, there's no reason to give it up altogether, just gotta be smarter about it. I still haven't gotten the same rush as I used to from skating, but riding my bikes is getting closer all the time.
