Both Tom and SKT have to realise that no matter what sort of ride they attempt- they have hills. I at least have a choice- in that I have areas where I can get in flat rides. They are not as much fun though- In fact they are boring. Nothing better than getting up that Hill, or slope, in a manner that would make others puff and push the bike.

I admit that I am taking it easy on the Bike at present so only taking in a few gentle slopes. Mainly so I can sort out the new bike and get myself adjusted to it. Can't wait to attempt my first 15% er without the triple fitted

The pair of you may not be getting the milage in that some others do- But 20 miles taking in hills is worth 40 on the flat. And is more of an achievement. Just realise that flatlanders get vertigo whenever they see a hill and find another route to bypass them. You don't have that choice.
