I used to do an interesting exercise for PF--my toes on the edge of a stair riser, my heels in the air. I would lower my heels and stretch out my tendons, and then raise my heels so that they would be about two inches higher than my toes. Keep repeating until you wear yourself out! All I can say is that I no longer have PF, and I am very happy about that.
