I'm 99% sure it is a 1993 model. I tried to lookup the serial number on VintageTrek.com but I couldn't find a match with any year. My commute is around 7 miles each way, so it is a relatively short one. I've been riding my 03 Specialized Epic but the suspension and seat position are starting to annoy me when I'm on the road. I figured that if I spend a few hundred dollars on my Trek, I should be able to make it into are pretty nice commuter/tour bike.
