To assume that everything at the dump is garbage, is a grave misjudgement. Our society throws away all manner of useful goods for god knows what reasons. I happened upon this derailleur still attached to a Diamondback frame that someone considered junk.
The only problem with this derailleur is the worn jockey wheel and that can't be more than a few bucks
