Hey- I'm a senior at the University of South Carolina, originally from Overland Park, KS. I'm 23 and just got into cycling- I managed to scrounge up an old steel Serotta and I'm looking for training hints- mainly, I've been out of all physical exercise for a year, and I'm trying to figure out a good, safe way to get into shape so I'm not always the red lantern. I have a stationary that's been getting a workout, but I'm not sure if just pedaling (with gear changes every now and then) is at all helpful.
