New To Folders
Chance to buy an old Dahon 'Getaway' 20" single speed coaster brake with original bag for $ 95.00. Has been a boat bike so has had very few miles. Mechanicals perfect w/ tight bearings. I am a Bottecchia road biker but I buy into the commuting and city exploring possibilities as expressed in this forum (I also plan to use it to inflatable raft and fish and bird down rivers and ride it back to the car). My main question is about it being a single speed. What do you think? I like the simplicity and light weight. Should I go ahead and buy it as a starter folder? Thanks for help.
