I have bad abrasions on my forehead and knuckles on both hands, bruises and road rash galore, and a torn muscle in my left thigh. It was one hell of a wakeup call, b/c I wasn't wearing a helmet. Thank the good Lord for my fighting training, because I hit my head first and I knew to clench my jaw so I would not get knocked out, and as soon as my head hit, I tucked my shoulder to roll and then popped right back up on my feet and got out of the way. If I had'nt rolled I would have been crushed. It looks like just the front rim is busted, but with the speed that I hit him, the frame might be jacked up.
Just thought I'd share my story as a reminder to be safe out there on the roads
Thank goodness you are OK. That's the important thing.
Now go buy a helmet.
