i recently bought a madison, pretty much for the nostalgia factor, its a beautiful looking bike and its sweet that schwinn brought it back. buyer beware though, it is clunky, i've just been trying to make it lighter and lighter, i only like using it for small rides for now. the wheel set is nice though, and it does come with some other appealing parts. the headset/stem are ugly. if youre going solely for a light frame, i would maybe consider a fuji as a starter instead, that did me real nice for my first track bike, and i still have it. good luck with it though, it is a head turner of a bike.
