for around the 1000$ range, would a freeride hardtail be better, or a freeride DS? I'm not too heavy of a guy, so that shouldn't be a concern. I'm starting to get into biking, so maybe by the time i do decide it's time for a new bike, I'll be able to choose to whether buy a stock bike, or build my own. Specialized and Giant bikes look mighty nice though, and i hear they're great bikes. Oh, and i posted a few pics of my IronHorse in the "Post Your Rigs" thread. thanks guys
