Congratulations! Sorry about your hands - that happened to me on my ride Saturday. My seat has been coming loose on me, and the angle has been slipping. If I wasn't convinced before that seat angle affects hands/arms, I am now! I'd accidentally adjusted it tipped too far forward (I normally ride with it level), and my hands were worse than they'd ever been before! Two fingers are STILL numb!! Fortunately about halfway through the ride it slipped again, but to "level," and everything slowly started feeling better over the next 8 miles (16 total!
) So you might add "experiment with different seat angles" to your list of things to try to help the hands/wrists/elbows.
