I ordered on Saturday the 4th and got it Monday the 13th. So 6 business days at the Paoli store. They were a bit swamped with orders from the sale, so it may be quicker.
As far as pedals go, i bought the Candy c pedals (in yellow for 49.99) with a small platform, and the clip/in out is much smoother than the spds i was using. Anyway i love using large platforms like a forte shovel, the small allen screw type pegs allow great comfortable grip and ability to pull up with your sneakers etc. I would guess just a generic platform would do as well.
I am loving the bike, last night i rode 40 minutes on the road, then 30 minutes on grassy/dirt trails....
