Trimming my helmet straps
I have a Bell Sweep R helmet and it is adjusted the way that I want it. Normally I just use the rubber o-ring to hold the excess chin strap. But it was so bulky that I decided to cut off the extra length. The ends want to unravel and my wife thinks that the strap is too thick for her sewing machine to handle. For now I have put duck tape to stop the unraveling. I sure did not anticipate this. Any thoughts.
