Hi Jay, For the right side you need a fixed cup wrench.The fixed cup is reverse threaded.The lockring and adjustable cup could be tough too.I put some masking tape around the bb shell to save the paint.If the bike has english threads,it should be easy.BUT__ being a 60's or 70's French bike someone else might be more accurate here.
