For what it's worth, I have Sevens on my bike (185 mm rotors). I replaced the front pads with Kool Stops, and on the DH runs at Canada Olympic Park, although they're not long, I was happy with the power and modulation. Most of my riding though is XC/Trail/whatever in the mountains west of Calgary, so obviously I don't stress the brakes as hard as someone riding Whistler all the time..
I have not tried the Codes.
