New fork... too flexy!

Just got a brand new Manitou Black Platinum fork. I got it installed, but it is so flexy. It will bob all the time on both the trails and the road. It will almost bottom out from me just sitting on the bike.

What really gets me is that the lockout is no longer effective. I have not done anything crazy on it, have barely had it on the trails yet. The lockout was great for the first day, but now it is just completely ineffective.

I weigh 185 lbs. I know I should get the firm spring kit from Answer/Manitou, but will this solve the lockout problem? Also, are there any sites for ordering the spring kits from, or should I just go to my LBS?
