Absolutely DO NOT use kerosene, diesel fuel, or gasoline in a Trangia. Alcohol is the only fuel. Denatured if possible, .Isopropol will do in a pinch but is smoky. You can substitute Heet or an equivalent . Everclear or "White Lightning" will work also, any liquor that will flame.
