did i mention, i'm lazy? hence the stock bike.
don't forget you'll have to get a different headset if going from threadless to threaded. you can still use 1.125" threadless stems with 1" steer tubes, you'll just have to use a shim. as for 1" threadless stems, i personally love the look of the cinelli alter. they aren't made anymore, but are often times on ebay. i really like my stem; it's a forté from performance. it was super cheap, light, and nice looking imo.


p.s. i just looked on www.chucksbikes.com and found several cheap and decent looking threadless stems of various sizes...
