Whatever you do, make sure you have a good chain connection. This is not a place for sloppy work.
I made a sloppy install of a pin and wound up over the handlebars with a mild concussion and no memory of the event. It was like - "How did I come to be lying here in the road and by the way, what month is it?" It all came back pretty quick, but could have easily been worse.
