My last day of paid work was last December 24th. I too have a house that has been somewhat neglected, so I have enough projects to last many years. My favourite project this summer was to build a balcony off our 3rd floor bedroom.
I have done more cycling than any year since 1980. We spent January in Miami Beach and that gave me a head start on the mileage log.
