Well, started out with a bang then ended whimpering rather badly. I got out of the gate strong, and eventually won a sanctioned race. My only other points-getting result was a 5th, however. So I got 1/2 way to Cat 2, and my goal was to make Cat 2 this year. So a disappointment. But it was neat to win that race, and unexpected. The coup de grace on my season (which, really, was over, my cortisol had shot up and I was really on the down slope of fitness) was a hit-and-run which still goes unsolved. My bike might not even end up being covered. Luckily for me, only a broken arm; could have been worse.
Anyway, I voted Martin Elmiger. Halfway.
