Nice-looking frame! You cannot go wrong with Campagnolo components, particularly on an Italian frame. If you are on a tight budget, Ofmega and Modolo also made fine Italian components which will look great and work well in your application.
The front derailleur braze-on mounting is a "blast to the past" which began to re-emerge in the 1980s; yours is presumably for a Campagnolo front derailleur. Front derailleur mounting tabs had been popular in the 1950s, particularly with the Simplex Competition ("suicide") direct-lever shifter.
