I thought about doing that, it's definitely a better bike than the mtb bike. And i have cross tires for it. However they are predicting snow for the race, Race is Nov 10th.
+1 On 'cross tires. With rain and snow the 'cross racing just gets better. But I'm from the Puget Sound area.
